Dear church family

R U A H        |        T R U S T  &  D E L I G H T

If you're not sure why we name our prayer space Ruah, it is because it is a Hebrew word for God's Spirit. Ruah is also translated as breath, air, and wind. We wanted to create some breathing space for people to encounter God's Spirit at the beginning of 2024.
For the first week of Ruah our key verse is 'Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans.' (Proverbs 16:3). We want to make sure that in 2024 we are making sure that our plans and the plans of our church are in line with God's plans for us. God goes before us, and it is important that we take time to listen and commit what we do to Him.
For the second week we are looking at Psalm 37 and delighting in God. The space is open Monday-Friday from 8am-7pm.

I also wanted to share with you what people have felt God saying to them during this first week of Ruah and written down:

- As the Scripture says, 'Anyone who trusts in him will never be disappointed.' Romans 10:11
- 'And now, dear brothers and sisters. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honourable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you.' Philippians 4:8-9
- 'But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.' Jesus is our hope.
- His truth will be your armour and shield.

Lots of love, Katie x
