Alpha Course

Course starts on 7th May - then every Tuesday for 11 weeks 6:30pm start - 9pm end. A meal will be provided. The course will be held in Sevington, Ashford, Kent (full address to be sent out upon sign up) .
Join a series of group conversations that freely explore the basics of the Christian faith in an open, friendly environment. At each Alpha session, after a meal, you’ll be hosted in a small group and watch an episode on a different question of faith – then you have a chance to share your thoughts and hear what others think. You can say anything you like, or nothing at all. Everyone’s welcome. You’re invited, no matter your background or beliefs. It’s free and there’s no pressure to come back.

Parenting Course

For parents of Secondary school age children. Starting late April / early May on alternate Wednesday evenings. Please email the office for more information.
The Parenting Teenagers Course consists of several sessions, designed to equip those parenting or caring for 11 to 18-year-olds with the tools to build healthy relationships with their teenagers while guiding them into adulthood.

The course will help you to:
  • Keep your long-term aim in mind
  • Meet you teenager's needs
  • Set clear boundaries
  • Develop emotional health
  • Help them make good choices

Ashford Life Skills

We partner with Christians Against Poverty (CAP UK) to support local people here in Ashford who are facing debt and other financial challenges / unmanageable debt / managing the cost of living.
We’ve seen how poverty robs people of dignity, hope and opportunities, and together with CAP we’re determined to fight back.

Sessions will run on a Friday afternoon.

LEAD

Our LEAD Theology Course will be held over 10 Saturdays throughout the year.  Each session will be divided in two with one part focussed on exploring a section of the Bible and the other part focussed on an aspect of practical theology and how it applies to our discipleship and leadership.
The sessions will be taught by the pastors at WBC plus a number of guest teachers throughout the year specialising in different fields. Morning sessions will typically start at 9:30 and finish by 13:00 with a break. See Course Schedule and find out more about this course and the LEAD Development Year below.
